Tonight, I performed stand up comedy for the first time! I was privileged enough to have two close friends there to witness my first attempt at searching for whatever is missing inside of me in the laughter of strangers. I’m proud of myself for having the courage/stupidity to get up there and perform. It’s something I’ve been considering for the better part of a year. It went really well and I’m happy to have been a part of a lineup of great comics. I can’t wait to do it again! 2012 is a good year.
Here is a new blog segment entitled “Because…Of Course” news.
In the first installment we have a 45 minute video of artist/filmmaker/sentient thrifted turtle neck Miranda July getting a haircut in Silverlake, because…of course this exists.
And I watched about 5 minutes worth by skimming and skipping through the entire thing. Because…of course I did. At certain points you can catch Miranda trolling, talking about fisting just to see if anyone is actually watching the video in it’s entirety.
